PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate slackening caused in a tape member in a device and method for forming a slit in a tape formed by a releasing paper and an adhesive tape member and stripping a part of the tape member.;SOLUTION: This slit forming device is provided with a tape carrying part 109 for supporting an ACF tape formed of releasing paper and an adhesive ACF in a binding state and carrying the same in a designated carrying direction, a tensile force applying part 107 for applying tensile force in the direction opposite to the carrying direction to the tape, a taper slit forming part 103 for pressing a blade 101 to the ACF and subsequently separating to thereby form a slit in the ACF, a sucking part 105 disposed on the opposite side of the slit forming part with the ACF tape 125 interposed between them for sucking the ACF tape 125, and a control part for controlling the on-off state of binding the tape of the tape carrying part 109, on-off state of the sucking force of the sucking part 105 and press/separate of the blade 101 to the ACF.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
