PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve temperature characteristics and reduce installation cost without requiring additional thermal insulation measures by fitting an introduction pipe of prescribed length which introduces measuring fluid into a tubular body, and a thermal insulating body consisting of thermal insulating material on its periphery. ;SOLUTION: An introduction pipe 31, whose one end is connected to the measuring fluid introduction side of a tubular body 21, and whose other end is connected to a case 22, prevents thermal transmission from the case 22 to the body 21 with a prescribed length involved. A thermal insulating body 32 consisting of thermal insulating material is formed on the periphery of the introduction pipe 31. As a result, the thermal transmission to the body 21 from the case 22 on measuring fluid introduction side is prevented by the introduction pipe 31, and the body 21 is insulated thermally from the case 22, thus it is possible' to improve temperature characteristics. Therefore, when a change in ambient temperature is large, additional thermal insulating measures, such as installing it in an air-conditioned room becomes unnecessary, thus it is possible to reduce installation cost. The thermal transmission from the case 22 to the body 21 is prevented by forming the thermal insulating body 32, thus it is possible to obtain a oscillating type gas density meter with good temperature characteristics.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
