PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce natural music from waveform data including watermark data without adversely affecting the features of the music during the reproducing.;SOLUTION: A CPU 31 embeds watermark data into waveform data stored in a waveform memory 41a by program processes. The program has a step which is used to detect a feature portion (attack portion and loop portion) representing the features of the music among the waveform data representing music waveforms and a step which is used to embed watermark data into the portion among the waveform data excluding the feature portion being detected. Moreover, the CPU 31 also takes out watermark data by the program process including the step in which the feature portion is detected and the step by which the watermark data buried in the portion excluding the detected feature portion are taken out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
