Insulation method for insulation paper and lead wire connection of lead wire of motor

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insulating paper and an insulating method for insulating the joint of the lead wire of a motor and a lead wire with good insulation performance. SOLUTION: A joint insulating paper is provided, at one end part thereof, with a counterbore part 5 being buried in the coil end of the stator of a motor when it is fixed thereto. Sections 1, 2, 3 for containing the joints of the lead wire of the motor and the lead wire at a plurality of points are arranged laterally in a row at the outer circumferential part of the insulating paper facing the counterbore part 5 while being insulated from each other by a partially applied ultrasonic welding part 4 such that the sections are not buried in the coil end of the stator of the motor but exposed to the surface thereof thus forming an insulating paper for insulating the joint of the lead wire of the motor and the lead wire.
