PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a polyaniline capable of melt processing or solution processing. ;SOLUTION: Dopants are synthesized by sulfonating 3-pentadecylphenol, methyl ether of 3-pentadecylphenol and phenoxyacetate of 3-pentadecylphenol. Aniline is protonated to form protonated aniline by mechanical by mixing or in-situ doping-emulsion polymerizing aniline together with above dopants. Product obtained thereby is subjected to conventional solution processing and/or melt processing to form the polyaniline capable of melt/solution processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
