PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an absolutely new forgery preventive technique (genuineness deciding function) which was unavailable before. PSOLUTION: A film with a genuineness deciding function which was unavailable in the past is obtained by combining a sort of metallic phenomenon in a visible-light range and an infrared-ray range with a pearl lustrous layer. For example, the film with the genuineness deciding function is characterized in that a pearl lustrous layer (2), a print layer (3a) of a pattern, characters, etc., with performance of transmitting infrared rays and a print layer (3b) of a pattern, characters, etc., with performance of absorbing the infrared rays are provided on one surface of a film (1) transmitting both visible light beams and infrared rays and the print layer (3a) and print layer (3b) are viewed in the same color with normal light and different in spectral refraction factor in the infrared-ray range.
