PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain new aromatic polyamide fiber paper excellent in heat resistance and electric insulation under high humidity, especially capable of solving problems comprising the generation of deformation (e.g. distortion, curvature, waving) in a process for producing laminates for electric circuit boards and the insufficiency of electric insulation under high humidity. ;SOLUTION: This aromatic polyamide fiber paper comprises aromatic polyamide short fibers and an organic resin binder in amounts of 70-96wt.% and 4-30wt.%, respectively, based on the whole solid content weight of the aromatic polyamide fiber paper. The amounts of the meta type aromatic polyamide short fibers and the para type aromatic polyamide short fibers are 5-30wt.% and 70-95wt.%, respectively, based on the whole weight of the aromatic polyamide short fibers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
