PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method anal an apparatus for the measurement of the absolute amount of a carbonic acid group in an oxide high-temperature superconductor, wherein, while a quantitative determination property is being kept, a complicated treatment before a measurement is simplified the measuring time is shortened the mixture of impurities can be eliminated, the influence of CO2 in the air can be eliminated and infrared spectroscopy is used.;SOLUTION: An oxide high-temperature superconductor sample is dissolved, CO2 gas is generated in a sealed vessel 3, and the absolute amount of CO3 is measured by using the infrared spectroscopy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
