PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor acoustic designing method which efficiently carries out indoor acoustic design.;SOLUTION: According to the method, a relational expression is prepared by setting an articulation index, a value of (room volume/room surface area), and a mean sound absorbing coefficient α as parameters, beforehand. Then, the value of the (room volume V/room surface area S) of a target room, and the mean sound absorbing coefficient α corresponding to a desired value of the articulation index STI, is determined based on the relational expression.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
