PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cyclopaedically analyze a methylation site in a genome DNA. ;SOLUTION: The genome DNA 700 is digested with a methylation-sensitive restriction enzyme SmaI among the methylation-sensitive restriction enzyme SmaI and methylation-insensitive restriction enzyme XmaI cleaving same recognition site and the genome DNA digested with SmaI is digested with XmaI. The DNA fragment 720 whose both ends are sites cleaved with XmaI is specifically amplified and the amplified DNA fragment is detected with a biochip in which the corresponding probe is fixed on a substrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
