PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user restriction type home server access system and an access method for accessing a home server even when service to which a fixed global IP is imparted, DNS (domain name system) service, dynamic DNS service, etc., can not be used.;SOLUTION: Terminals of a plurality of users including predetermined restricted users are connected with the home server, the home server is provided with an IP address information acquisition part 12 for acquiring an IP address of the present machine, a restricted user information holding part 11 for storing information specifying terminals of the restricted users and an access destination information part 10 for giving access destination information in an URL form generated by adding the IP address acquired by the IP address information acquisition part or directory information in the home server, the IP address of the home server is acquired according to an instruction of the user or an instruction to be transmitted by a timer provided in the home server and the restricted users are informed of the access destination information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
