PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator which can suppress the decline of the total power, when a plurality of modules are connected to each other. ;SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generator is constituted by connecting to each other a plurality of thermoelectric generator modules 2, which obtain electric outputs by causing temperature differences between the both end junctions of the modules 2, by heating one surfaces with a heating medium 12 and cooling the other surfaces with a coolant 13. When the modules 2 are connected to each other, (A) a deviation suppressing means is provided for reducing the deviation in the temperature difference caused between the both end junctions of each module 2, and (B) the heat transfer rates of the modules 2 are controlled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
