PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of the conventional technique that, for example, radish with leaves is immersed in water is washed manually or by washing only a root part with a transversely feeding roll brushing washer, is shipped without washing the leaf part or is shipped by manually washing the same and, therefore, requires much and heavy labor because the automatic and continuous washing is impossible.;SOLUTION: This washing apparatus for long size root vegetables with leaves is composed of a roll brush 3 for inward washing which is disposed so as to be positioned inwardly, a roll brush 4 for outward washing which is positioned outwardly with respect to the roll brush 3 for inward washing, a splash-preventing brush 5 of an object to be washed which is positioned on the upper side with respect to the roll brush 4 for outward washing and a central partition plate 6 which is disposed on the upper surface of the roll brush 3 for inward washing in parallel. Therein, an injection nozzle of high head injection device is disposed in the state of being positioned above the roll brush 3 for inward washing and the roll brush 4 for outward washing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
