PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously casting a cast slab excellent in a solidifing structure, in which the quality of the cast slab can be improved with industrial productivity at a low cost by improving an equi-axed crystal ratio in the solidifing structure of the cast slab after solidifying molten steel to prevent the internal defect, such as center segregation, center porosity formed in the inner part of the cast slab, and to provide its cast slab.;SOLUTION: In the method for continuously casting the cast slab excellent in the solidifing structure, the continuous casting is performed after adjusting the components so that a C1 value obtained with the following equation becomes ≥20. C1=330(C mass%)+5(Si mass%)+2(Mn mass%)+115(P mass%)+720(S mass%)+(Ni mass%)+0.1(Cr mass%).And the cast slab excellent in the solidifing structure is obtained by the method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
