PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic toll collection system, electronic toll collection method, onboard equipment, and an electronic toll collection program, capable of promptly stopping the use of IC cards and preventing the wrongful use of the same. SOLUTION: A card reading/writing means 23 for reading identification data from an IC card 31 and a transmitting/receiving means 28 for transmitting the identification data to a roadside toll booth and receiving IC card disabling information from the same for disabling the IC card 31 are provided. The card reading/writing means 23 enters the disabling information into the IC card 31.
