PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To crush fragile articles such as glass products and ceramic products to be disposed of into granules, to sort the granules by size, to facilitate handling thereafter, and to recycle the granules. ;SOLUTION: An apparatus is composed at least of a crusher 2, a sorter 3 for sorting granules from the crusher 2 by size, a feeding conveyer 5 for feeding fragile articles to the crusher 2, a supply pipe 5 whose starting end is connected with the discharge pipe 24 of the crusher 2 and which supplies the granules to the sorter 3, and a re-feeding conveyer 6 for returning coarse granules sorted by the sorter 3 to the crusher 2 to be crushed again into fine granules.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
