PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil cooled compressor enabling prevention of abnormal increase in the content of oil by always monitoring the content of oil in compressed gas sent to a destination of oil supply. ;SOLUTION: This oil cooled compressor 1A is provided with a detection passage 19 branching off from a discharging passage 12 on the secondary side of an oil separating and collecting part 14, an oil separation detecting apparatus 21 having an oil separating element 22 capable of catching finer oil particles compared with an oil separating element 15 in the oil separating and collecting part 14 built in and having an oil drop detecting means 23 outputting a signal indicating a electrical state change when the same receives an oil drop dropping from the oil separating element 22 built in, and provided in the detection passage 19, and a computing part 24 receiving electric signals from the oil drop detecting means 23 and calculating and outputting the percentage content of oil in the compressed gas based on intervals of the electric signals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
