PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply electric power to a drive motor by utilizing electric conductivity of a grid material itself which constitutes the expansion gate.;SOLUTION: In the expansion gate, a movable stile 8, a fixed stile 9 and a plurality of frame bodies 10, which are arranged between the movable stile 8 and the fixed stile 9, are expanded/contracted by a pantograph mechanism from one end to the other end in an entrance 1 which is installed on the site of a building; the grid material 15 constituting the pantograph mechanism is made conductive; and all or some of shafts 11, 12 and 13 for turnably coupling the grid materials 15 together are made conductive, so that one grid material 15 and the other grid material 15, which are coupled to the same shaft, are selectively put into a current-carrying or insulating state, and so that a current can be carried from one end of the pantograph mechanism to the other end thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
