EARTHQUAKE WAVEFORM DATA COLLECTION DEVICE AND EARTHQUAKE OBSERVATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of collecting earthquake waveform data automatically from observation terminals installed in various places.;SOLUTION: When an earthquake is generated, the observation terminal 2 acquires waveform data and acceleration data of the earthquake. The observation terminal 2 transmits the acceleration data to a transmission/reception device 20. The transmission/reception device 20 transmits the acceleration data to an earthquake waveform data collection device 30. The earthquake waveform data collection device 30 decides whether the received acceleration data satisfies a prescribed collection condition or not, and requires the waveform data of the earthquake corresponding to the acceleration data to the observation terminal 2, when it is decided that the acceleration data satisfies the collection condition. The observation terminal 2 transmits the waveform data to the earthquake waveform data collection device 30 in response to the requirement. The earthquake waveform data collection device 30 receives and stores the waveform data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
