PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use molding sand waste by forming burned tiles made of a raw material in which a specified gross pts.wt. of clay-cement-glass-based aggregate is mixed with a specified gross pts.wt. of molding sand waste and molding shell waste. ;SOLUTION: An appropriate quantity of water is added to 40-50 gross pts.wt. of clay-cement-glass-based aggregate and 60-50 gross pts.wt. of molding sand waste and molding sand shell and the mixture is kneaded together by a kneader 2 to form tile-shaped bodies as semi-finished goods 1a. The semi-finished goods are put in a furnace 3 and fired at 900°C or higher and thereafter, they are cooled to form burned tiles 1b. In this way, molding sand waste can be effectively used and environment-friendly pavement tiles which have a porous texture not clogged with materials and which is water-permeable and water-retainable, can be formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
