PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush that improves the detachability of a hydraulic hose connector for connecting a hydraulic hose connector for connecting a hydraulic hose to a bicycle part.;SOLUTION: This compression bush for a hydraulic hose assembly is provided with a body part having first and second axial end parts; a cylindrical inner surface extending between the first and second axial end parts of the body part; and an outer surface extending between the first and second axial end parts of the body part. The outer surface comprises a first inclined region reduced in radial width toward the first axial end part of the body part; a second inclined region reduced in radial width toward the second axial end part of the body part; and an intermediate region disposed between the first and second inclined regions.
