PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting device, an emergency lighting apparatus, and a luminaire for emergency which can be compact in size as an emergency device, and can perform an optimum function as the emergency device. SOLUTION: In this device, when a battery unit 20 is fully charged, an output from a control device 19 is generated to a charge control part 29 so as to stop charge by a charge circuit 15, the control device 19 arithmetically calculates from the detected value of a detection means 23 and the voltage value of the battery unit 20 the battery amount of the battery unit 20 reduced by self discharge after it is stopped of being charged, and before this calculated battery amount reaches a specified value or less, by outputting an operating command from the control device 19 to the charge control part 29 so as to recharge the battery unit 20 by the charge circuit 15, the battery unit 20 can be prevented from being overcharged.
