PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for allowing delicate sales promotion corresponding to the attributes of customers and the characteristics of stores.;SOLUTION: Member cards brought by customers visiting a store are recognized by a magnetic card reader/writer in a store integrated terminal 1. A point addition and benefit granting program is operated to allow the addition of visiting points to be automatically recorded on the member cards and a visiting history file in a hard disk in the store integrated terminal 1. Data for the visiting history file is gathered in a center server 2, and a special benefit granting program 202 in the center server 2 ranks visiting frequencies and transmits data to the store integrated terminal 1 so that special benefits are granted to members ranking lower.
