PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message chat system or the like capable of unitarily utilizing the advantages of chat and instant message.;SOLUTION: This message chat system comprises a message chat server 100 connected to a client device 200 of user. The client device 200 comprises a message chat module 273 for transmitting a dialogue start request. The message chat server 100 comprises a dialogue designation determination part 135 for determining a user as dialogue designation and a chat request part 138 for transmitting the dialogue start request to the client device 200 of the user as dialogue designation.
