PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart energy absorbing capacity to a beam-column joint of a frame, which is composed of a concrete column and a precast concrete beam, without the need of a special space for the installation of a damper at the relative deformation of the column and the beam during earthquakes.;SOLUTION: In the frame composed of the concrete column 1 and the precast concrete beam 2, an energy absorbing part 30 for absorbing energy at the relative deformation of the column 1 and the beam 2 is formed in a torsel material 3 which is joined to the joint of the column 1 with the beam 2 and supports the beam 2 at the erection of the beam 2; and the torsel material 3 also serves as the damper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
