PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and lightweight incubator usable also for brooding, having a simple structure and favorable for education because a child experiences a process for hatching an egg into a chick by itself and raising the chick. ;SOLUTION: This simple incubator usable also for the brooding is designed to keep a clothes chest made of a plastic at a prescribed temperature and humidity with a moisture holding tool and a 60-W thermostat and circulate air with a 7-W fan. An egg is included in each egg supporting tool and manually rotated 2-3 turns a day. Monitoring is carried out with a hygrothermometer and a thermometer. The top surface of the chest is covered with a bath towel to assist heat insulation in the winter season.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
