PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic drug history system which can be used for proper patient compliance instruction and which is useful for preventing a medical accident, etc., by having excellent looking and reading property. SOLUTION: The electronic drug history system 1 is provided with an input means 12 for inputting contents about the drug history of each patient written in a prescription, a drug history entering tag, etc., a copying means 13 for preparing the copied images of the prescription and the drug history entering tag, a storage means 111, a control means for shortening information on the drug history inputted by the input means 12, and prepared by the copying means 13 and storing and retaining it in the storage means 111, a selection means 15 for selecting succeeding information desired to be succeeded to prescription of next time in the information stored in the storage means 111, and a display means 14. When the identification information of each patient is inputted, the control means 112 extracts the succeeding information corresponding to the patient selected by the selection means 15 from the storage means 111, and displays it on the display means 14.
