MEDICAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS SYSTEM USING DRG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for gathering the medical examination information of patients in a plurality of medical institutions to one part, classifying/ coding the patients by DRG(diagnosis related group), statistically analyzing coded data and mutually comparing each of the medical institutions. SOLUTION: The system is constituted of a process of inputting the medical examination information of the patients of each of the medical institutions, a process of transmitting inputted data to an analysis center, a process of checking consistency and propriety of the data, a process of coding the data according to the DRG, a process of statistically analyzing the coded data, a process of turning the analyzed data into a chart, a process of returning statistic data from the analysis center to the medical institutions and a process of outputting the statistic data in the medical institutions.
