PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poriomaniac detection device for detecting a poriomaniac who tries to open a door from within to output an alarm without making the poriomaniac carry a transmitter. ;SOLUTION: This poriomaniac diction device 10 attached to a door body in the vicinity of an operation handle 13 used to open and close the door 11 has a passive sensor 16 for detecting that a portion of a human body comes into a detection area in the vicinity of the operation handle 13, a door opening/ closing detector 18 for detecting the opening/closing of the door 11, a password code inputting means 19 provided with a small number of key switches, an alarm 20 that operates when abnormality occurs, a controlling means 23 for detecting that the door 11 is closed with a door opening/closing detector 18, and outputting an alarm in such a manner that the passive sensor 16 operates while no prescribed password code is inputted from the password code inputting means 19, and a case 12 for storing them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
