PRICE ACCEPTING METHOD FOR EXHIBITED COMMODITY OF INTERNET AUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems in a conventional Internet auction wherein an auctioneer forms profit by collecting predetermined sums responding to concluded sums of transactions and it is favorable for the auctioneer that an exhibited commodity is successfully bid, but when a seller sets an upset price of an exhibited commodity at a value higher than the market, nobody bids for the commodity, the auctioneer gets no profit, and resources are wastefully consumed.;SOLUTION: The auctioneer accepts a commodity to be exhibited and information regarding an upset price, the auctioneer refers to information having past successful bidding situations of the commodity, and when it is judged that the accepted upset price is comparatively high, the auctioneer instructs the seller of the auction to change the upset price.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
