PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that position information to be known is just a rough position although a means for calling registered mobile communication equipment such as PHS (R), transmitting a pocket beeper (R) signal, starting a pocket beeper (R) station receiving this signal and finding a position through a telephone station is developed as a conventional means for searching for the position of the mobile communication equipment. SOLUTION: In the novel system, the position information of previously registered slave communication equipment such as portable telephone or PDA or portable terminal such as PHS (R) can be acquired by member registration in the position information services of a manager while using the master communication equipment of a machine type such as portable telephone, personal computer or PDA capable of Internet communication. However, a position search request is received from the master communication equipment through a Web site by the manager, an identification number or the like is edited and transmitted to the slave communication equipment by E-mail and further, only when a response from the slave communication equipment matches both identification numbers, the position information and map information are worked and sent to the master communication equipment.
