PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reinforcing structure of a bridge structure and a method for repairing the bridge structure, by which the flexural rigidity and torsional rigidity of a main girder in service can be improved by a simple structure and the flexural rigidity and torsional rigidity of the main girder can be ensured even in the case of the repair works of a floor slab.;SOLUTION: Bridge-axial stiffening materials 3a and 3b while being opposed in the bridge-axial rectangular direction are installed in the bridge-axial direction of the webs of at least a pair of the I-shaped sectional main girders 1a and 1b mounted in the bridge-axial rectangular direction. Reinforcing members 5 are secured detachably to the opposed and installed stiffening materials 3a and 3b. The reinforcing members 5 are set up to the stiffening materials installed while being opposed in the bridge-axial rectangular direction of the webs of at least a pair of the main girders 1 mounted in the bridge-axial rectangular direction, the whole or a part of the floor slab 2 on the main girders 1 is removed and a new floor slab 2 is executed to the whole or a part on the main girders 1, and the reinforcing members 5 are removed as required and the bridge structure is repaired.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
