PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling moisture of a raw material to be fed to a sintering machine for simultaneously refining zinc and lead, by which the content of moisture required for granulation can appropriately be detected, and also the required moisture can be fed neither too much nor too little.;SOLUTION: A flowmeter 3 is arranged on the space between a centrifugal pump 2 and a granulating machine 1. The surface moisture content in granulated matter fed from the granulating machine 1 is measured with an infrared moisture meter 4. The moisture content to be controlled in the raw material decided based on the measured value is fed from a moisture controller 5 to a flow rate controller 6 by an electric signal. A flow rate indicator 7 decides a proper flow rate by the above signal and a signal of an indicated value fed from the flowmeter 3, and the centrifugal pump 2 is controlled by the inverter 4, so that the proper content of moisture is fed into the granulating machine 1 at a position of the post stage in the granulation process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
