PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot dip Zn-Al-Mg-Si plated steel tube which has excellent corrosion resistance. ;SOLUTION: The hot dip Zn-Al-Mg-Si alloy plated steel tube having excellent corrosion resistance has a plating layer having a composition containing, by weight, 3 to 20% Al, 0.1 to 10% Mg and 0.01 to 2% Si, and the balance Zn with inevitable impurities. When the steel tube is coated with an inorganic film consisting of an inorganic compound, or an organic resin film consisting of an organic resin, or the amount of the upset in the bead part on tube making is controlled to 5 to 80% of the sheet thickness, a hot dip Zn-Al-Mg-Si alloy plated steel tube having more excellent corrosion resistance can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
