PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency self-supporting photocatalyst which is suitable as a photocatalyst to efficiently decompose environmental pollutants in order to develop a photocatalyst module for a practical energy-minimum type environmental cleaning system and which is prepared by producing a hybrid hollandite compound on the surface of a fibrous photocatalyst essentially comprising titania.;SOLUTION: The hollandite compound/titania fiber hybrid photocatalyst is manufactured in the processes of producing a precursor sol of the hollandite compound, applying the hollandite compound precursor sol on a fibrous photocatalyst essentially comprising titania, gelling the hollandite compound precursor sol on the fiber surfaces and sintering.
