PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension control device and its method for a NC machine tool for dividing the data of a CAD/CAM system into the data of a NC machine tool and that of an auxiliary machinery, and simultaneously controlling the same to improve the extensibility of the NC machining tool including the auxiliary machinery. SOLUTION: In this extension control device and method for the NC machine tool for controlling the operation of the NC machine tool 12 for machining a work piece, and the auxiliary machinery 13 mounted on the NC machine tool, the extensive NC data given from the CAD/CAM system 35 and including the data on the NC machine tool, defining the operation of the NC machine tool 12 and the auxiliary machinery control data for defining the operation of the auxiliary machinery 13, is stored, the stored extensive NC data is divided into the data for the NC machine tool and the auxiliary machinery control data, operating situations of the NC machine tool 12 and the auxiliary machinery 13 are inputted, and operation signals are outputted to the NC machine tool 12 and the auxiliary machinery 13 while synchronizing them.
