PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously refer to other data related to graphical representation including graphic data, which are not included in a set display range, when displaying a graph.;SOLUTION: A CPU 10 computes a (y) value of a mathematical expression corresponding to an (x) value in a specified display range, and moves in parallel to the (y) value so as to be fit into the display range when the (y) value is present outside the display range. Also, foreground colors are set in transparency colors to generate the graphic data, which are displayed in a display part 100. Further, the CPU 10 makes the display part 100 display a display range preview instructions window for instructing the preview of the display range, and recalculates the display range depending on the input preview instructions through the window, thereby displaying the computed display range at a predetermined position of a display range setting picture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
