PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner which improves gas sealability, appearance, operability, workability and yield rate.;SOLUTION: The burner is provided with a burner body 1 and a cap 5 which is press-fitted onto the body 1. The cap 5 is formed so as to have a substantially annular shape by pressing a metal plate, and is provided with a plurality of flame holes 6 on its upper surface, and an inner cylindrical wall portion 7 and an outer cylindrical portion 8, at both ends of the upper surface, respectively, for sealing gas that may leak from between the burner body 1 and the cap 5. The outer cylindrical portion 8 has a staircase structure in which a plurality of outer cylindrical walls 8a, 10, 12 and outer peripheral flat walls 9, 11 are formed. The cap 5 is a casting in which a plurality of outer cylindrical walls and a plurality of outer peripheral flat walls are provided to improve stiffness, and easily obtain accuracy in cylindricity of the outer cylindrical walls, flatness of the outer peripheral flat walls, and coaxiality of the inner and outer cylindrical wall portions of the cap 5, and in addition, the cap 5 is integrated into the body 1. Thus no leakage of gas occurs unlike the conventional burner in which gas leaked from between a cap and a ring.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
