METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LABEL PAPER FOR THERMAL PRINTER AND LABEL PAPER MANUFACTURED USING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a label paper which is hardly curled or hardly causes empty feeding or double feeding of paper even when the paper is curled in a cut sheet type label paper of a heat sensitive paper for a printer.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a label paper 30 for a thermal printer, in which a substrate 30a having a heat sensitive color developing layer and a separator 30b are laminated with an adhesive, includes at least a first process of decreasing the amount of water in the separator 30b in the cut sheet state and a second process of laminating the substrate 30a in the cut sheet state on the separator 30b with the adhesive interposed after the first process. The principal direction of expansion by absorption of water of the separator 30b is controlled to be orthogonally crossed with the feeding direction of the label paper 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
