PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety to forgery by hiding the presence of even a hologram of a type that the hologram is reconstructed when the hologram is irradiated with coherent light or making this hologram indistinct. SOLUTION: The recording medium 1 for genuineness certification is constituted by having an optical structure 3 arrayed with micro-optical unit areas 4 on a base material 2, arraying a plurality of kinds of the micro-areas multi- valued with the phase information of a Fourier transform image of an original image and recorded therewith in the form of depth within the same micro-optical unit areas 4 or arraying a plurality of kinds of the micro-areas multi-valued with the phase information of the Fourier transform image of the original image by each of the micro-optical unit areas 4 adjacent to each other and recorded therewith in the form of the depth.
