PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety to forgery by hiding the presence of even a hologram of a type that the hologram is reconstructed when the hologram is irradiated with coherent light or making this hologram indistinct. SOLUTION: The recording medium 1 for genuineness certification is constituted by having an optical structure 3 arrayed with micro-optical unit areas 4 on a base material 2 and lining up the micro-areas multi-valued with the phase information of a Fourier transform image of an original image and recorded therewith in the form of depth and the micro-areas recorded with diffraction gratings within the micro-optical unit areas.
