PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonlinear optical crystal laser frequency conversion coupler. ;SOLUTION: This coupler includes ≥1 nonlinear optical crystal 3 and prisms l and 4 which are affixed at the luminous flux incident surface or exit surface or both of the incident surface and exit surface of the crystal by a thermal fusing and gluing or matching liquid 2. These prisms are simultaneously or separately right-angled, equilateral or scalene triangular and these hardly cuttable, uncuttable or costly crystals are combined with the prisms, by which the phase matching thereof is realized and consequently the coupler is effectively applied to a laser frequency conversion region and an important way for application for the nonlinear optical crystals is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
