POLYAMIDE COMPOSITION FOR FLEXIBLE TUBE TRANSPORTING OIL OR GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide composition for a flexible tube transporting oil or gas, which is excellent in an anti-ageing property, and particularly useful for the tube used in excavation of oil and gas on an off-shore, and also useful for the tube of an automobile because of having ageing resistance caused by a temperature under a bonnet and by a fluid to be transported.;SOLUTION: The composition comprises the following: 70-96 wt.% of a polyamide selected from the group consisting of PA-11, PA-12, an aliphatic polyamide obtained by condensation of a 6-12C aliphatic diamine and a 9-12C aliphatic diacid and an 11/12 copolyamide containing 90% or more of a nylon-11 unit or 90% or more of a nylon-12 unit, 4-10 wt.% of a plasticizer, and 0-25 wt.% of an NBR or H-NBR elastomer, provided that a total amount of the plasticizer and the elastomer is 4-30 wt.%. The composition can be prepared by blending under melting the components in a standard manner for producing a thermoplastic resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
