PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing varnish by which volatile organic compounds contained in the varnish can be reduced, to provide the varnish by this manufacturing method, and to provide printing ink using the varnish and a printed matter using the printing ink.;SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing or storing the ink varnish, and/or at a process of storing after dissolving, at a process of charging a resin, oil, solvent and an auxiliary into a tank and of mixing and dissolving them the volatile organic compounds contained in the mixed solution or varnish are removed.
