PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage breaker device in which vacuum break and gas break are united.;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a casing 12, the vacuum breaker 10 having the first and the second arc contact points 1, 2, a means installed in order to exert force to the second contact point 2 while a current is flowed in the vacuum breaker, a gas breaker 11 having the third and the fourth contact points 3, 4, and a driving rod 6 coupled with the fourth contact point 4, and further this is provided with a coupling means 13 which can make the second and the third contact points electrically and mutually connect and which can be moved in parallel together with the second contact point, and a displacing means to be connected with and to displace the coupling means and the driving rod 6 so that the second and the fourth contact points will be respectively separated from the first and the third contact points. The displacing means is provided with a dead stroke linking means to enable that the driving rod is displaced over a prescribed dead stroke D, and simultaneously to enable that the vacuum breaker is sustained in a closed state during the displacement by the action on the coupling means also.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
