PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stocktaking method, a stocktaking program and a stocktaking device capable of comparing a book number and an actual shelf number at the point of time of a stocktaking date even in the case that an actual shelf number checking date and the stocktaking date are different, mitigating the time restrictions of stocktaking work and reducing work loads. ;SOLUTION: At the time of comparing the book number which is the number of stock on a book managing the stock of merchandise and the actual shelf number which is the number of the actual stock of the merchandise, the stocktaking date is set, the actual shelf number is obtained by checking the number of the actual stock of the merchandise, the shipping number of the merchandise from the actual shelf number checking date to the stocktaking date is obtained, the arrival number of the merchandise from the actual shelf number checking date to the stocktaking date is obtained and the book number and the actual shelf number are compared on the basis of the shipping number and the arrival number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
