PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic music composition/arrangement device for improving user's operation easiness, and to provide a program for realizing an automatic music composition/arrangement method.;SOLUTION: Since screen display and a user's operation procedure between an automatic music composition function and an automatic music arrangement function are similar, screen constitutions are made common and both functions are distinguished by changing the background colors specifically for the selection screen (step S2) of a style in the automatic music composition function and the selection screen (step S8) of a style in the automatic music arrangement function. Thereby, the relevance of data created by the automatic music composition function and the automatic music arrangement function, respectively, and the contents of operations become easy to understand, as a result the user's operation easiness is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
