PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small high speed NC lathe capable of singularly providing an end product applied with considerably complicated machining and extensively shortening a setup time even when a tool to be used in machining of a work is exchanged.;SOLUTION: In the small high speed NC lathe, two Y-axis direction sliding blocks 4A and 4B directly holding a plurality of tools are arranged in side positions of a main spindle 31 and a sub spindle 32 respectively and each Y-axis direction sliding block 4A and 4B is individually driven on a frame in a Y-axis direction. The frame 40 is composed so it can move in an X-axis direction, and the sub spindle 32 can also move in the X-axis direction. Consequently, machining can be carried out in a sub spindle 32 side individually from a main spindle 31 side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
