PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated gas production device which can wholly effectively utilize gases obtained by concentration, and to provide a concentrated gas production method. SOLUTION: The concentrated gas production method comprises concentrating hydrocarbons from a mixture of the hydrocarbons with carbon dioxide to recover the concentrated gas as a fuel gas, adjusting the excessive gas except the concentrated gas by an excessive gas-adjusting means 6 to enhance the calorie of the excessive gas, recovering the adjusted excessive gas as a fuel gas, and effectively utilizing the excessive gas as the fuel gas.
