PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable ceramic mixed with a mineral metal for keeping environment in soil, wherein, a porous ceramic carrier is improved in carrying ability, and soil bacteria to which the mineral metal is essential, proliferate using organic, and inorganic substances from garbage as nutrition while absorbing the mineral metal.;SOLUTION: The porous ceramic carrier made capable of carrying bacteria decomposing organic and inorganic substances is obtained by mixing a refined diatomaceous earth powder, clay, and a powder of mineral elements, forming in a proper shape, and after that firing it at about 1,100°C in an electric furnace.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
